Summer 2021 is here and we want you to come get lost on the Lost Coast at California’s most remote brewery, the Gyppo Ale Mill. Gyppo is a female-run brewpub searching for happy, positive and hard-working folks to join our culinary team. Our locally sourced and from-scratch menu is what appeals to our seasonal tourists and loyal locals. We get it, the restaurant industry is scrambling for staff but we believe we set ourselves apart from others with the people that make Gyppo wheels spin! Our vibe is freewheeling, keep a smile on your face and patience in your pocket. We just want to serve food, beer, and fun in this magical place we call home. Come check it out. It really is magical!
The Gyppo Ale Mill is located in the small fishing village of Shelter Cove. We are 4 hours north of San Francisco just off the historic 101 highway. The Gyppo Ale Mill brewery is located directly next to a privately owned campground and on the 9th hole of the Shelter Cove golf course. On our large and spacious beer garden, guests can watch small private planes land and pilots walk over for their famous $100 hamburger.
Outdoor space is what the Lost Coast is about. We have excellent crab, salmon, tuna and bottom fish fishing. Hiking trails aplenty. Beautiful secluded beaches, perfect for putting life into balance.
