The most prominent features of this little valley are the Benbow Historic Inn and the Benbow KOA & Golf Course . The Inn is a 65 room historic building with a restaurant and lounge and conference rooms. The Benbow KOA Resort and Golf Course is a 110 site RV park with a 9-hole golf course.
The Benbow Historic InnandBenbow KOA Resort and Golf Course is seeking an outstanding Security Guard candidate.
Overall Responsibility:
The Security Guard's primary job duties pertain to the Benbow Historic Inn and Benbow KOA Resort and Golf Course. Light patrol of the Benbow Historic Inn and communication with the Inn's Night Auditor.
The Security guard will patrol and monitor the KOA to ensure only guests and registered vehicles are on-site, enforce rules (including employee housing rules), report violations or unregistered vehicles to the office or law enforcement as necessary, and generally secure assets and monitor against theft or vandalism.
Job Duties:
Patrol KOA and Hotel properties for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities
Enforce KOA rules
Maintain communication through company radio system
Respond to security related complaints
Respond to manager and/or employee calls for assistance, including dealing with a belligerent guest
Monitor security cameras, alarm systems and other surveillance equipment as necessary
Escort unruly patrons from property as necessary
Ensure that fire exits, stairways and halls have adequate and functioning lighting
Complete reports and/or activity log of unusual occurrences including evictions of guests or loiterers or other suspicious illegal activity that may need to be reported to law enforcement
Greet guests and assist them as needed
Assist with other tasks as needed:
General cleaning around the KOA in order to keep the property clean and in order, including but not limited to: picking up litter/trash, cleaning laundry room and bathrooms, monitoring dumpsters to prevent overflow, and other assigned tasks.
General maintenance duties including but not limited to changing light bulbs, touch up painting, and other assigned tasks.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years security guard experience in engineering hotel department.
