North Coast Co-op, one of the countrys largest consumer cooperatives with two stores in Californias Humboldt County, is seeking a Manager for our Arcata store. Reporting to the General Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for the operation of this large, full-service, Certified Organic Grocery. Supervising a staff of 60+ employees, the Store Manager leads the way in providing exceptional customer service to our 18,000 member owners. As part of our Management Team, they will participate collaboratively in the overall planning and management of the co-op. Interested applicants should have a background in natural foods, an understanding and commitment to the cooperative business model, a proven, successful management history that includes fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. Experience working in a union environment is a plus. Bachelors degree preferred plus five years of progressive management experience, or an equivalent combination.
