Redding Rancheria is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse. Under the direction of the Nursing Supervisor assists with the day to day coordination and operation of the medical department. In conjunction with the Nursing Supervisor, direct supervision of Medical Assistants and RN staff. Assists with patient and staff complaints. Creates and maintains a medical department schedule. Ensures medical assistant and RN orientation. Maintain competency checklists. Provides direct nursing care as needed. Ensures Medical Department is staffed appropriately daily. Directly responsible for patient flow.
REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing and possess current/valid R.N. license.
-BSN preferred.
-CPR certification.
-Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
-Indian preference.
-Must be fingerprinted and pass background check.
