Comer Communications, a low voltage company is seeking experienced Installers for our growing company.
Position: Installer
This position requires a higher level of knowledge and is to report to the Lead Installer. The requirements and duties of the Installer include but are not limited to the following:
Requirements:
1. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
2. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
3. Will require bending, stooping, crawling, climbing a ladder and the ability to work at heights.
6. Must be able to distinguish colors.
7. Commitment to abide by OSHA and all other safety standards and procedures.
8. Providing high quality service to all customers.
9. Communicate and collaborate with other members of the team.
10. Strong problem-solving capabilities.
11. Valid Driver's License and clean driving history.
12. Must pass a background check.
13. High School diploma or equivalent.
14. Self-motivated.
15. Basic troubleshooting skills.
16. Must be able to use hand tools, drills, data testers correctly.
17. Must be able to travel periodically.
18. Must be able to pass unscheduled drug tests.
Duties:
1. Install racks, cables, cameras, speakers and low voltage equipment with efficiency and accuracy.
2. Accurately complete work orders.
3. Work by self and with other employees in a professional manner.
4. Inspect, complete inspection sheet, and maintain company vehicle assigned to.
5. Keep inventory of parts in van ensuring that the van has the correct parts for the job assigned to do.
6. Need to be able to work unsupervised.
7. Installer should be progressing to become a Lead Installer.
8. Quality control
9. Complete and pass technical trainings required to stay knowledgeable in the low voltage field.
10. Pay attention to detail.
11. Clean up when job is complete.
