This is a hotel maintenance position in which only minor maintenance skills are required. You must be good at problem solving, trouble shooting, and able to keep busy without constant guidance. Motivated to work hard for the hotel and to keep the property in the best possible shape aesthetically.
This position requires you to work in all the weather elements of our local community. You will be required to do the following tasks using your best skills.
Painting
General light landscaping
Taking trash out to the dumpster and replacing liners
Cleaning the parking lot and hotel grounds constantly
Light plumbing, electrical. drywall, and carpentry repairs
Wall paper repair
Assembly of goods and products
Exchanging of air conditioning units
Organization of tool shed and supplies
Maintaining appliances or replacement
Minor carpet repair
Minor roofing repair
Changing of filters and routine upkeep
Sweeping and hosing down of parking lot and all hotel corridors
Customer service requests
Repair of vacuum cleaners
Sweeping of cobwebs with extended brush poles
Ongoing maintenance of all tools and power tools
Simple technical help with electronics or repair of electronics
Reports directly to Management
This is a part time leading to full time position, plus occasional overtime. You must be available at times on call for when an emergency arises. This requires someone in good physical condition and able to multi task and get the jobs completed as needed. You must be able to take direction well and follow instruction.
