Award-winning law firm seeks an attorney of same caliber to handle predominantly civil matters.
Represents the Firm in prosecution of civil cases, managing cases vertically from initial investigation through resolution; assures cases are concluded in a manner satisfactorily to our clients.
Reviews documents, pleadings, and research in order to conduct legal and factual analysis to determine causes of action or defenses to be filed based on the admissibility of evidence.
Conducts legal research; gathers and complies evidence; identifies and subpoenas witnesses, evidence, and other information required to present the case; prepares and presents legal documents, argument, and negotiation as required.
Manages assigned cases, confers with clients, witnesses, and investigators; negotiates settlement agreements with opposing counsel; anticipates problems and pursues solutions; establishes and prepares trial strategies.
Monitors and reviews trends in law and ethics, recommends operational, procedural and policy improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
