EBMC is an established property management company that has been in business for 50+ years.

Seeking a Full-time Maintenance Technician/ Landscaper for a 60 unit multi-family Tax Credit property located in beautiful Shasta Lake, CA. Tara Hills Apartments- position available immediately.

We are seeking a part-time maintenance technician (25 hours) or full time (40 hours) maintenance technician/landscaper.

Primary Duties: Maintains the landscaping, occupied unit repairs, turnover vacant units, preventative maintenance of the buildings, building systems and premises. Keeping the operations of the premises in safe and good working order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Large portion of time (approximately 25-50%) will be maintaining the landscaping of property (mowing/weeding/irrigation system, etc.)

Maintaining/ repairing: electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling equipment; doors, keys/ locks, windows, parking areas, fences, lighting, grounds, and similar work as directed.

Prepares apartments for move in: painting, repairing, replacing, and/or refinishing surfaces, appliances, blinds, and/or similar jobs as directed.

Maintains the Laundry Room and common areas: cleaning, mopping, emptying trash, replacing light bulbs, etc.

Reports or corrects safety hazards.

Responds to day and night emergency on-call needs if directed by Resident Manager.

Regularly participates in staff and safety meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned by Resident Manager/ Property Supervisor.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license and clear driving record.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Compensation & Benefits:

$15 - $17 per hour depending on experience; plus a medical/dental benefits package for the employee, major holidays, and vacation time.
