Schork Electrical Services is Hiring! - We are seeking a Skilled Service Electrician who really knows his/her stuff!
We provide Residential and Commercial electrical services, maintenance, upgrades, remodels and new construction. This is a permanent position with part time to full time work in Redding, CA.
General Requirements:
5 years minimum experience preferred in the electrical trade (journeyman card or equivalent experience).
Excellent customer service
Good verbal and written communication skills
Work well with others or alone
Timely and efficient at completing tasks
Able to pass a drug screen, background check and have a clean DMV report.
Technical Skills Required:
Advanced experience with service changes, panel upgrades and troubleshooting
Must know current electrical code (journeyman level)
Must be able to read prints and schematics
Must know types of materials, wire sizes, boxes, conduits all types to be able to use on job and terminology
Must be able to go into attics and under houses.
Must be able to do Residential and Commercial types of work
Must be able to perform basic troubleshooting
Must be able to install switches, outlets, lights, boxes, disconnects and other components
Must be able to make up panels and install proper breakers per wire size
Must be able to read equipment tags
Must be able to fish walls
Must be able to install all types of conduit
Must know how to heat up PVC and bend conduit
The qualified candidate (upon hire) will receive wages between $22-$30 per hour depending on experience.
