Analyzes, documents and reports computer processing abends and problems, determines cause, assesses alternative solutions, implements corrective action and monitors to avoid recurrence. Develops, coordinates and maintains department operating procedures and systems to ensure effective problem-solving operations. Maintains control of software and hardware change implementations and coordinated changes with applicable personnel to ensure proper utilization of CPU resources, channel I/O completion, peripheral devices, DASD and network environments. Provides network, computer and equipment problem resolution support to improve customer satisfaction in reliability, availability, and cost of service.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

5 Years of related experience with Bachelors Degree; 3 Years of related experience with a Master's Degree.

Hands on experience and knowledge of Macintosh software/hardware products.

Knowledge of MacOS and Windows.

Experience troubleshooting creative tools such as Adobe CC Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of picture and sound

Linux installation and configuration.

Knowledge in Audio/Visual and production equipment such as microphones, speakers, video displays, connecting wires and cables and mixing boards.
Professional experience in a systems/IT support position, ideally in visual effects/editing/studio environment.

Broadcast video experience: using equipment like AJA/Blackmagic cards, SDI cabling, monitor calibration. Experience in tape backup processes & technologies, specifically LTO tape a plus.
