Our client is a fast-growing enterprise hospitality technology company that provides hotels with innovative solutions to drive efficiency and enhance the guest experience. Their core solutions get rid of antiquated technology in hotels. This opportunity will provide close interaction with senior leaders and founders. Their founders are alums of the Cornell Hotel School, Columbia University, and The University of Pennsylvania- Wharton. They have previously built software companies and have worked at firms such as Bain & Company and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. About The Role: Their team is growing and we're hiring multiple senior engineers to join our existing engineering teams in Bangalore, San Francisco, and New York. They are currently fully remote due to the pandemic but plan to reopen offices in San Francisco, New York, and Bangalore later this year. What You'll Do • You'll collaborate with a team of engineers and managers to create applications used by our hotel customers around the world • Write clean, self-documenting code that follows best practices and design patterns • Provide creative ideas to improve our product and technology • Think beyond the specifics of a ticket in order to delight customers or grow the business • Be a self-starter that can, at times, take initiative and execute on projects with little direction Minimum qualifications • 5+ years of experience • Solid knowledge of developing backend applications • Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products • Self-motivated, collaborative, and diligent work ethic Bonus Points • Expert in Python with knowledge on at least one industry standard framework like Django, Flask, etc. • Experience using Docker and cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) • Database design skills Benefits: • Health Care Plan • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) • Stock Option Plan • Flexibility to visit and travel to their offices.
