The Public Sector Field Marketing team is looking for a rock star campaign and demand generation marketer who loves execution. If you appreciate working in an agile environment, applying your experience in end to end creative campaign execution, organizing and leading a virtual team while attending to the details on time and on budget. A successful campaign manager is an innovative, independent thinker with strong campaign management experience to influence sales activity, to nurture existing pipelines and to deliver outstanding revenue results. And, of course, we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in!Responsibilities:

Assist with the development and delivery of breakthrough ideas and innovative campaigns. This requires collaboration with other marketing specialists to deliver experiments and innovation for net-new business via all relevant mediums and channels (e.g. webinars, 3rd party associations, digital, influencers, PR/media, social media, live events, sales programs etc).

Work with a fast-paced and growing sales team to support the execution of collaborative programs that help find new buyers and cross-sell into existing accounts. Publish and monitor frequent campaign scorecards to share results, learnings and best practices with key stakeholders; adjust the plans and priorities to stay focussed on pipe generation targets.

Lead development of the marketing plan for end-to-end marketing programs and strategy for your Public Sector sales team.

The most important aspect of your job will be to lead the execution, launch and maintenance of marketing plan efforts - and you will have support and alignment with Industry Marketing, Sales and Marketing Leadership, and the Global Public Sector Business Unit Field Marketing Team.

Have the capability to orchestrate, negotiate, prioritize and manage project deliverables with other members of the marketing and communications organization as needed (including digital, PR, creative, social, communications, events, industry and segment marketing, customer marketing and marketing operations)

Effectively collaborate and manage agencies to help scale delivery and impact of programs across digital, creative and face-to-face events.

Coordinate enablement of sales development and sales programs/telemarketing resources working with Go-to-Market industry leads.

Assess results: Analytical capability is key for understanding impact, and managing demand generation, forecasting, budgeting, lead flow, and the many moving parts involved in running an effective marketing machine. You will help Improve and apply processes and best practices to ensure program success, making programs globally visible and available, measure outcomes and manage budgets to maximize impact.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Work directly with the Public Sector sales team on the annual marketing plan that will guide your activities. You may focus on one or more of our Public Sector Government Verticals: State & Local, Federal Civilian and Department of Defense, Aerospace Government Contractors in the US, Canada, Asia Pacific or Europe.

Develop content, email and multi-channel marketing campaigns, events and programs that identify new buyers and develop awareness and relevance for Salesforce Public Sector solutions. This includes creating the bill of materials, driving thought leadership pieces, first call presentations, leave behinds, etc. Outcomes are leads, pipeline, pipeline progression and revenue.

Support and deliver pipeline growth for specific products and capabilities targeting key buyers and influencers.

Collaborate with cloud solutions, business units and sales leaders to ensure programs align to pipeline goals, and develop the appropriate enablement to ensure that sales is ready to catch campaigns as they launch.

Own pipeline progression across all programs, making sure there is audience alignment and sales activity, both through execution internally to sales teams and externally to customers.

Collaborate and align across PBU Field Marketing on the demand generation calendar to ensure high quality, effectively sequenced targeted content.

Develop reporting frameworks for clear communication with sales and marketing leaders on a global level to share email marketing performance trends.

Manage written, oral and presentation communications to key stakeholders across the business.

Experience/Skills Required or Desired:

Prefer 3+ years experience in content marketing

Experience with civilian, defense or intelligence communities - the acronyms alone!

Excellent strategic & technical thinking. Highly organized and detail oriented.

Default to execution with ability to write materials that present complex concepts effectively across multiple personna, and at both the tactical and executive levels.

Highly efficient team player, with the ability to also work independently in a fast-paced, fluid, sometimes ambiguous environment.

High energy and the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Works well under pressure and in a high growth environment that is constantly changing.

Track record for delivering under tight deadlines.

Experience creating and delivering integrated marketing, email marketing and nurture campaigns that deliver high impact.

Strong communication skills including storytelling with data (tableau, pivots) and in presentations (google, power point, keynote, prezzi)

Experience with Salesforce CRM, Data Visualization, Business Objects or Einstein Analytics a plus.
