FSR II (Field Support Technician) - Riverside, CAAt Redbox we’re not just passionate about our products, we LOVE our customers! You will work independently throughout the day in partnership with your manager to ensure our customers are taken care of, kiosks are up and running, and company goals are met. You will be the face of Redbox to our customers and will gain valuable knowledge and experience to grow your career.You will use a company vehicle to merchandise, install, repair, and maintain Redbox kiosks within an assigned territory. With input from your supervisor, you will plan and schedule your days, making adjustments as new priorities and tasks arise. You’ll work in an environment where route, daily tasks and weather conditions can change on a regular basis.Key Responsibilities
Performs and completes preventative maintenance and independently troubleshoots and repairs kiosks onsite and remotely
Monitors daily kiosk performance reports
Responds to dispatch calls during scheduled shift between the hours of 8am and 8pm as needed
Manages and maintains all kiosk parts, repair tools, merchandising product, and equipment
Provides quality customer service through regular interaction and communication with coworkers, external customers, external contractors, store owners, and managers and employees
Secures all Redbox merchandise and ensures kiosks are properly locked
Properly cares for and maintenances of all company issued property such as car, phone, laptop, parts, tools, and inventory
Loads and unloads product from automobile, residence and warehouse
Performs specialized projects as assigned
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED
2+ years of electrical or mechanical equipment repair, troubleshooting and maintenance experience
2+ years of computer operations and maintenance experience: must be able to troubleshoot, load and configure software, handle component and peripheral replacements and troubleshoot, connect and configure network connections
1+ years of experience in a customer facing position
1+ years of field experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills
Ability to use MS Office and web-based software applications
High level of literacy with Windows Operating Systems
Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with others
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions including extreme weather
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% outside of assigned territory
Must have valid driver’s license and maintain an excellent driving record
Ability to successfully complete MVR, drug screen and background check
Must have the ability to store at least 50 cubic feet of company merchandise such as product boxes, marketing materials, tools, kiosk parts and cleaning supplies within personal residence as needed
Ability to work a rotating schedule between the hours of 8am and 8pm, including weekends
Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently throughout the workday. Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull and stand on a regular basis throughout the work day.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
