Responsible for providing support for the food safety program. Responsible for providing support to the Operations Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIESEnter key food credits daily into the Accounting system and prepare them to be sent out for billing, verifying information with Quality Control and Transportation, as necessary.

Provide support for the food safety programs, including assisting with the food safety audit and administering all paperwork associated with the food safety programs.

Organize and file customer invoices.

Complete operations reporting requirements as assigned

Process operations PTO and Vacation request.

Coordinate and book travel needs for operations team.

Collaborate with annual activities team to organize employee holiday and picnic activities.

Provide support to Operations Manager for equipment repairs. Resolve building and grounds maintenance problems in Operations Manager’s absence.

Oversee cleaning crew.

Provide Receptionist back-up support, as needed.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in an ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Effective interpersonal and oral/written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times.

Good computer skills, including MS Excel, Word and Outlook; competent to learn other technology as necessary.

Must be able to self-directed and work well independently, as well as in a group/team setting.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently and completing tasks in a timely manner.

Able to be resourceful, show initiative and exercise good judgment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS1-3 years’ experience in an office/administrative role. Proficient using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook. Working knowledge of Avaya phone system and switchboard a plus. Experience using general office equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS Office and warehouse environment. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit. Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms. Climb stairs; balance; bend, reach, push and pull, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talking and listening. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
