Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome a Testing Administrator, Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll provide an excellent candidate experience across multiple communication channels, email, phone, Teams, etc. at our Testing Center located in Rosemead, CA / Irwindale, CA. The job will also entail working occasionally at our Training Centers in Chino, Alhambra and Huntington Beach to support our Lineman, Groundman and other physical testing. As a Testing Administrator, Specialist , your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Are you ready to take on the challenge to help us build the future?A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!Track, monitor, analyze, process, and document testing data/information by using databases, spreadsheets, and other systems to gather and interpret complex testing information to prioritize multiple assignments, tasks, and projects all while meeting tight deadlines

Support the Corporate Testing Team in all three areas of pre-employment testing administration: GO5 Point Person Field Testing, and Testing Operations

Serve as a critical touchpoint and navigator for employees and candidates. Coordinate and schedule calendar meeting notices and on-site physical and verbal knowledge testing

Maintain awareness of Human Resource programs, products, services, practices, and policies and exercises

Build and maintain positive relationships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisitions, Talent & Assessments Programs, Bids and Transfers Team, and Powerline Trades by being positive, communicating with respect and actively listen to client’s needs

Apply union agreements to keep Southern California Edison in compliance with U.W.U.A, and I.B.E.W Collective Bargaining Agreements

Handle confidential sensitive employee information, by following policies, and procedures set forth by Human Resources and Corporate Testing Department

Support managers, supervisors, recruiters, and candidates to confirm availability, conference rooms and details for performance assessments

QualificationsThe essentialsThree years of work experience preferably in Human Resources, test administration, customer services, or related work experience

The preferredOne year of experience identifying customer and business problems and support

Advanced skills with MS Word

Intermediate skills with MS Excel and SharePoint

Strong critical thinking skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

You should knowWhen a return-to-office date has been determined, this position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
