job descriptionShipping/ReceivingAre you an experience warehouse worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have the job for you! A great company in Roseville, Ca is looking for help on their dock. We are looking for individuals who have great attention to detail and are eager to learn.Responsibilities:Maintain timely control of orders, amendments, shipping notices, and other documents to assure accurate record retentionLoad and unload freight from incoming/outbound trucks (company owned or 3rd party vendors / partners)Complete physical piece / pallet count verification and perform required quality checksSort and stage material for shipment, according to customer requirements and/or SOPPerform pallet build, shrink-wrapping, material scanning, and documentationInspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages, and notify appropriate management personnel;Perform data entry to record shipping and receiving transactions, create shipping documents, and update shipment statusEnsure proper labeling of inventoryWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSkills:1 year of warehouse experienceAbility to lift up to 50 poundsCan stand for duration of shiftAttention to detailEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:High school diploma or GED1 year warehouse experienceAbility to receive, track, and inspect materialsAbility to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbersAvailable to work flexible hours, regular overtime, and weekends when necessaryMust have strong computer usage skills; Microsoft Excel, Word and e-mail use requiredIf you are interested in this position please reach out to sarah.mckenna@randstadusa.com or aaron.erickson@randstadusa.com or call the Branch at 916-774-4700.
