35 year Commercial HVAC company seeking experienced established HVAC Estimator. Must have mechanical HVAC estimating capabilities in light to medium commercial industry. Self motivated, innovative ,detail oriented with good customer relationship skills. Must be up to date on the latested in HVAC technology and systems relating to energy conservation and green building design.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 yrs in Estimating Design Build and Plan and Spec light to medium commercial projects.
-Proficient in commercial HVAC load calculations and software
-AutoCad friendly
-Estimating Software
-Building Analysis
-Controls and Building Automation
-LEED qualifications and AP preferred
-Background in Hydronics, Refrigeration, Reheat, and Recovery systems
Duties include: Estimating and designing commercial HVAC new construction and retrofit projects. Selecting equipment,materials and designs for systems and taking project to drafting stage. Site walks and building analysis for verification of exisitng equipment, systems and and field conditions.Reading blueprints and performing takeoffs using estimating software. Attending prebid job walks, design meetings and pre construction meetings.Working with other trades for design coordination. Working with prospective clients for building analysis and energy upgrades.
