For this critical project, we’re hiring 40+ auditors to support of our implementation work on the Green Homes Grant Scheme, a major national grant scheme with the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). The Green Homes Grant Scheme is a UK government-funded voucher scheme to help up to 600,000 domestic consumers make energy efficient home improvements, helping them reduce their energy bills, while also generating up to 100,000 jobs in the UK. Please note, these positions are UK based only and will be remote home working.Who are ICF? ICF is a growing company with a large commercial energy business. What does a Energy Grant Voucher Auditor do?Our team of Auditors provide technical review and analysis of Green Home Grant Scheme vouchers to ensure all grant eligibility requirements are met. The Auditors monitor each voucher award to ensure it meets the quality standards required by BEIS and to detect and deter fraud and waste.Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and are skilled at following and applying policy rules and guidelines to ensure an exceptional level of quality is delivered with each grant. Candidates must possess an interest in learning more about energy efficiency and building science with a focus on energy efficient installations. Specific technical program training will be provided, though the role will involve the following: Accurately assessing grant application data to determine eligibility conformance.
Analyse application data to identify possible fraud or patterns that reveal waste. Assist non-digital customers and contractors with the application process where necessary. Provide clear feedback to applicants on application progress and offer guidance on improvements required to support grant eligibility. Support random quality control sampling of grant applications Be able to work on your own initiative but also work within a virtual team problem-solving environment. Follow all policies and guidelines set by our business and regulators Maintain strict confidentiality regarding consumer, landlord, and installer information. Background of ideal candidateProven experience in a similar data processing/quality control type role
Confident in processing and cross-referencing data and numerical information

Ability to work remotely in the UK and within a suitable working environment is essential.
