Job Description:
The County of Sacramento, SAP Support Team is looking for a consultant with a wide variety of SAP Finance functional knowledge to help with some cleanup and reconciliation projects. We will eventually be upgrading from Suite on HANA (SAP ERP 6.0) to S/4 Hana and going from the classic GL to the New GL. The projects this resource will work on will help get the County ready for these upgrades. Some of the upcoming projects include reconciliation between General Ledger accounts and Special Purpose Ledger account balances and improvement to ERP reporting so that reports are generated directly from SAP COMPASS.
The ideal candidate should have, at least in last three projects, a working knowledge of Open Item Management, Open Item Clearing, Cash Flow reports and the ability to automate the process of clearing. The resource needs to have experience to work on multiple projects both in Agile as well traditional waterfall SDLC methodologies and documentation requirements associated to both.
Additionally, the resource should have experience with SAP Funds Management and Integration with SAP Project System, and should have worked with at least one Public Sector client. Additional experience with implementation of new and modification of current Workflow processes in FI, CO, PS, MM & HCM is preferred. The resource must have a combined 8 or more years of SAP Finance/Cost Accounting experience.
