The Scrum Master/Functional Manager will manage large scale projects in agile-based delivery. In this position, the Scrum Master/Functional Manager will manage workstreams and collaborate with Product Owner, Project Manager, and other Project Leadership. The Scrum Master/Functional Manager will escalate and ensuring resolution to program issues, dealing with resource constraints, and managing intra-team timing challenges and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client staff in dynamic project planning activities within an agile framework

• Prioritize work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team

• Maintain product backlogs

• Be the client's direct contact to validate project work (backlog) that needs to be accomplished

• Ensures that the developers complete their work in a timely manner, that such work meets the client's needs, and schedules

• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity

• Support the product owner and provide education and training where needed

• Perform all sprint/iteration planning to achieve the client's functional goals and expectations

• Conduct daily scrums, reduce roadblocks, conduct all sprint ceremonies, provide sprint reporting

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience managing and delivering at least two Agile or Modified Rapid Application Development (MRAD) or hybrid Agile methodology to configure Platform as a Services

• A minimum of 5 years' experience defining the scrum roadmap, maintain the product backlog, support, and educate the Product Owner

• A minimum of 5 years' experience collaborating, dynamic planning process working with business/technical development teams. Scrum Master experience must include prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the development team

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in educating and guiding scrum teams on how to use Agile/MRAD methodology and setup of best practices

• Scrum Alliance CSM or Agile Scrum Master certification

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Experience with enterprise tools, such as Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce preferred), HCM, ERP and other COTS solutions

• Experience with Agile tools and methods including with TFS, Azure DevOps or Jira tools

• Strong technical understanding of software development and technology to challenge scrum teams and strive for improving agile best practices

• Excellent communication skills to interface with our client's internal business teams and organize sprint work

• Demonstrated ability to work directly with diverse business and technical team members in a strong team-oriented environment, including off-shore teams

• Leading teams with diverse skill set in multiple locations, including offshore

• Bringing experience with many types of technologies and delivering out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem-solving possibilities
