Senior Data Analyst / Data Governance Specialist

Mandatory Skills

• At least five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years working in Information Technology or Information System fields performing data management services including data analysis, data quality assurance and validation, data profiling/cleansing/reconciliation, and recommending approach for data conversion//migration on one or more project
• At least three (3) years of experience within the last ten (10) years iteratively developing a data dictionary.
• At least three (3) years of experience within the last ten (10) years planning data migration/conversion efforts for an IT State government project.
• At least three (3) years of experience performing data analysis and design, including developing data diagrams and data flows for system and data interfaces on at least one (1) IT government project within the last ten (10) year
• At least three (3) years of experience in planning and executing data migration activities spanning across multiple stakeholders on the same technology platform with differing data entry standards within the last ten (10) year
• Experience analyzing, profiling, cleaning, and validating IBM DB2 data source elements for data quality issues on one or more project
• Experience applying Architectural Frameworks, such as, TOGAF, PEAF, Zachman, and DoD to manage baseline and target data architecture on one or more project
• Experience migrating data from on-prem to a Cloud platform environment on one or more project
• Experience analyzing data to determine data quality issues for Natural ADABAS mainframe systems, RPG, and Natural programming language
• Experience performing data migration/conversion efforts as a Lead data analyst on one or more California State government IT project implementations with a budget or contract value of $5,000,000 or mor
• At least three (3) years of experience working as a data modeler creating both logical and physical data models for relational databases within the last ten (10) years.
