The Sr. Member of Technical Staff develops solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles.This position is responsible for supporting cybersecurity team, projects, and processes associated with AT&T’s Cloud implementations including SaaS products and security. Security architecture planning and/or diagram review and creation Integration and/or review of 3rd party products with AT&T systems and security products like ASTRA Development and code, Dev Ops, and technical work requiring heavy collaboration A deep understanding of Cloud and AT&T’s strategic vision for cloud and stands as a security advocate while driving our overall corporate missions forward.30% Drive the vision and cloud security implementation, review, policy, and updates in parallel with security leadership and teams to specifically address cloud implementations in conjunction to internal tools and security platforms.30% Designs appropriate cloud security approaches, considering strengths and weaknesses in our existing SaaS Cloud architectures and controls framework to anticipate activity of adversaries and new attack vectors for which we need to prepare.25% Collaborate with stakeholder and security tools team to ensure development and implementation of core security functions.15% The person will also participate in relevant peer, government, and industry groups to help share and learn about relevant issues and countermeasures.Accreditation, Certification, or Licenses: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, one or more Azure or AWS certifications, SaaS specific certifications would be beneficialTraining/Special Skills: Certification or commensurate expert knowledge in 1 or more of the following cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, SaaS specific commercial products (Salesforce for example, or other). Certification, knowledge or experience in Information SecurityJob Contribution: Senior level technical expertise. Deep technical knowledge and subject matter expert on AT&T technologies.Education: Refer to Technical Career Pathway (TCP) website https://workspace.web.att.com/sites/ITTCP under TCP Disciplines Guide/Inventive Science for approved universities and degree disciplines. Exceptions require Board Review.Experience: PhD in an approved field with no minimum years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Technical Career PathwayRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher degree such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university.
