As a Software Developer Principal within PNC's C&IB MIS organization, you will be based remotely in California.

The following experience/skills are preferred.

1. Knowledge and extensive experience in working on ACBS (Version 8.0) Commercial Banking application.
2. Ability to understand user requests and convert them to change requests/requirements for ACBS.
3. Provide ACBS application software development services in LANSA/Visual Lansa. Analyze and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives to improve processes and systems. Conduct planning, and forecasting activities for the new requirements.
4. Work on enhancements around ACBS applications and its interfaces. Develop program logic for new add-ons/interfaces and modify logic in existing add-on/interfaces. Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software add-on/interfaces.
5. Understand Product defects vs customization defects.
6. Provide technical support whenever needed.
7. Extensive coding experience in LANSA/Visual Lansa
8. Knowledge of ACBS Datamart and ATS.
9. Knowledge of ACBS API's (DCI to Servicing).
10. Knowledge of Commercial and corporate Lending domain.
11. Experience in working on CL programming on AS400 system.
12. Experience in working with Lansa Integrator and SOAP UI's
13. Experience in working with Lansa Open for .NET using Visual Studio
14. Experience in working on REST API's and related tools like Postman, APIGEE Edge.
15. Experience in creating Proxy development using APIGEE Edge for REST API's.

Competencies

Application Design, Architecture - Knowledge of application design activities, tools and techniques; ability to utilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.

Packaged Application Integration - Knowledge of and the ability to implement packaged application software and integrate it with company applications, databases and technology platforms.

Product and Vendor Evaluation - Knowledge of and ability to implement processes for the evaluation and selection of products, tools, services and infrastructure components ensuring they are in line with an organization's business needs and architectural principles.

Software Process Improvement (SPI) - Knowledge of formal software process improvement disciplines, and ability to assess and improve the quality and operating costs associated with an existing application.

System Development Life Cycle - Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.

Technical Troubleshooting - Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

Work Experience



Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
