Join VIP: A strategic approach to accelerate your career! The Systems Analyst position will start out remote due to Covid-19 but will eventually be at the client site in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with client stakeholders, travel between client sites as needed
  • Document system requirements/validate requirements
  • Create design specifications
  • Create user stories
  • Assist in user acceptance testing
  • Write and execute test scripts as needed
  • Perform organizational change management

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Meeting Participation and Debrief
  • Support development of Monthly and Ongoing Status and Periodic Review Reports

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience on a technology software/application project that included infrastructure, network and hardware/software components, and followed a formal system development life cycle
  • At least three years of experience utilizing Excel, Visio and other analytical tools
  • At least three years coordinating multiple stakeholders and business units
  • Strong analytical skills; strong communication skills

    • Desirable Qualifications

    • Five years of systems analysis experience managing complex IT systems and integration projects
    • Public sector experience preferred
    • Law enforcement domain experience preferred
    • Experience with multiple state or local government departments on a single implementation roll out
    • Experience with a records management system

    Education & Certifications

    Bachelors degree preferred

    This job operates in an office setting which incurs moderate noise consistent with a business office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical attributes are required, for instance, manual dexterity/typing, read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation, the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as well as, ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
