This individual will be responsible for developing, prioritizing and executing the industry and solution strategy globally based on our industry clouds and core product portfolio. This person partners with Product Management, Customers, and Distribution to develop & deliver the Banking product strategy. The role requires a strong understanding and point-of-view of industry trends and an ability to develop business cases and roadmaps for industry-specific requirements.As part of the global Industries team, collaboration with peers around the world to create and execute a global product and solution strategy is a key objective. This individual will work closely with the Financial Services Chief Revenue Officer, internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to formulate a strategy based on understanding market opportunities, sub-vertical nuances, competitive differentiators, and commercial viability to drive industry product and industry ACV.This leader will be key in collaborating with the Financial Services Chief Revenue Officer and regional sales leadership, Industry Advisors, Marketing, Enterprise Architecture, and Solution Engineering teams to develop and position products and solutions in the market. This individual will be responsible to lead a team to achieve the objectives set out for our Banking business.The ideal candidate has operational experience at an enterprise software vendor, has direct experience in the industry, or a strategy consultant in Banking. It is also critical to hold a clear grasp of Salesforce's solutions and capabilities for this market and the ability to present our vision and solution strategy for the industry to a C-level audience.Establish trust and underline relevance of Salesforce in the industry by being responsible for:Oversee Banking industry point-of-view to shape product and solution focus and approach

Lead the development of industry solutions to offer the Global Operating Unit teams and work with regional teams to understand and prioritize localization of industry solutions

Own Banking Blueprint along with relevant PMs to guide the industry product roadmap with industry priorities & requirements — perform detailed strategic analysis and gather industry-specific requirements from customers at a region and vertical level

Partner with Product Management and Marketing to launch new industry clouds and solutions

Collaborate closely with Cloud Product Marketing Managers and Distribution Solutions to incorporate Cloud products and solutions into Banking products and solution

Partner with Distribution Solutions to create industry-specific solution and demo assets to ensure accurate and compelling story

Work closely with Marketing teams on industry assets, including industry products and solution assets

Engage executives and customers at prospect Banking companies to provide solution and product expertise

Support key industry events by representing Salesforce as an industry expert and speaker

Run Product Advisory Councils with Product Management and participate in industry Customer Advisory Board

Build an industry-focused partner ecosystem through the Build-By-Partner process

Your Impact - How you will Execute:Develop the solution strategy and business case for Banking to drive industry cloud and industry ACV

Responsible for maintaining the industry solution portfolio globally

Successfully bring together a cross-functional team, including Industry Marketing, GTM Stratetgy, Sales, Sales Enablement, Field Marketing, Product, Partner and ISV teams to develop and execute strategy

Own Industry Blueprint to determine investment priorities and partnership opportunities

Create partner strategy and establish executive relationships with strategic SI and ISV partners

Coordinate and collaborate closely with CRO and regional leadership (product, sales, enablement, marketing) to to achieve target revenue growth

Take personal responsibility for supporting the growth of revenue across the industry via strategic account engagement and operational scale

Be an effective presenter to large customer audiences as well as command the attention of C-level executives, and earn their trust through expertise and relevance

Be a thought leader in the industry and evangelize the value of Salesforce

Success Criteria:Help Salesforce exceed the global industry and industry cloud ACV and AOV target for the fiscal year

Successful launch and adoption of industry clouds, exceeding the ACV target

Successful launch and adoption of industry solutions

Minimum Qualifications:Industry Experience: The role requires 15+ years of industry expertise working in, selling into, or consulting and implementing technology for the Banking industry

Oversaw teams in a matrix organization to design, develop, and bring new product and solutions to market

Managerial experience with geographically dispersed teams, and business units, with a variety of experience levels and competencies; exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence

Have significant — unparalleled — knowledge and experience in use of Banking technology

Held an active role in a firm's digital transformation, through the use of technology and business process improvements

Strong communication and writing skills

Exceptional presentation skills in both small and large scale settings

Proven track record in performing well in a fast-paced environment where influence — outside of the core team — is required to successfully execute strategy

Ability to travel 50% of the time

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
