We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic and passionate Therapist/Clinician for a clinical services position in our residential programs. This position will require a strong background working with substance use and mental health issues as well as strength in Program Management. Qualifications
Master's Degree in Social Work or Master's degree in a related human service field
Licensed (LCSW or LMFT) preferred
Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Program Counselor Preferred
Effective leadership and project management skills
Experience in treatment of drug use, mental health , special needs and family dynamics
Knowledge of local community resources.
Knowledge of community-based services principles and Recovery principles
Strong practical and theoretical foundation in evidence-based and best practices such as motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
Experience in services planning, risk assessment, and crisis intervention
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team and community resource agencies
Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, community partners, and all levels of management
Duties:
Develop individualized care plans and monitor implementation of treatment goals.
Facilitate youth groups.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and assignments effectively
Proficiency in computer technology, Microsoft Office
Willingness to work non-traditional hours as the job necessitates
Cultural competence to work with diverse populations
Possess a valid California driver's license, provide proof of adequate vehicle insurance
Must pass health screen, TB test, criminal record and child abuse index clearances
