California Sun, Inc - is now seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. With over 20 locations and more planned, we offer significant growth and career opportunities. General Responsibilities:
Develop and implement policies and procedures, monitor and ensure company compliance. Process new hire paperwork, create/update job descriptions. Labor audits, update filing and record keeping of all personnel files and any other miscellaneous projects as needed
Recruiting: phone screening, group interviewing, one-on-one interviews, calling on references and assist in training new-hires
Benefits Administration
Process and fulfill EDD paperwork, ACA filings, EEOC reporting, etc
Onboard new hires
Maintain employee files and records
Ensure compliance with company policy, state and federal labor laws
Time card and labor audits
Experience Preferred:
2-3 years of HR experience
Familiar with Federal & CA labor laws
PHR certification is a plus
Must possess a high level of professionalism, strong ability to communicate (written and verbal) and possess a strong work ethic
Must exercise considerable judgment and discretion involving confidential information
Flexibility, multitasking and organization skills are keys to the success of this position
