Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for a Full-time Bus Fueler/Service Assistant. The schedule is Monday through Friday 40 hours per week, hours will vary between 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. A current DMV printout (K4) must be submitted with your application. You must be 21 years of age for insurability. The position is open until filled.
This position is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, washing, and fueling buses, vehicles, and other equipment; performing minor servicing of assigned vehicles; and performing a variety of general cleaning, maintenance, and delivery duties. Fueler/Service Assistants receive direct supervision and perform duties within a framework of well-defined policies and procedures.
The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Ability to clean and fuel buses
Valid California Class C Driver License with the ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver License
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats
COVID-19 Vaccination-Must be fully vaccinated prior to first day of employment

Salary:
The starting salary is $15.50 per hour plus $400.00 sign on bonus (to be paid in increments after 30, 90 and 180 days of employment).
