Busy Natomas law office seeks an energetic and professional Administrative Assistant to support our principal attorney.
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following tasks:
⢠Answer, screen and announce all incoming phone calls and greet visitors
⢠Manage office and attorney calendar and assist with preparing attorney for each Client or Advisor meeting
⢠Provide general administrative support and assist attorney with correspondence and preparation of legal documents as needed.
⢠Help coordinate and attend monthly client seminars
⢠Update blog posts, social media platforms and newsletter as required
Required Skills:
Excellent telephone/meeting etiquette, excellent oral communication skills, written communication skills, professionalism, interpersonal skills, organization, planning, proofreading and grammatical skills.
Candidate must also have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Wordpress and all Social Media platforms.
Candidate must also be able to work independently, multi-task, have excellent attention to detail, and be a team player.
This is a full-time position and will require errands/runs to state agencies and local superior courts -- MUST have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
Education/Training:
One year experience in a law office is preferred, but not required. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
