Summary
The role of an Inventory Specialist is to establish and maintain an effective, accurate and efficient inventory management process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure cycle counts / audits are done on an ongoing basis
Process accurate and efficient inventory controls
Stock/Unstock inventory items on racking units
Ensures back of house operations and truck process are consistent to company standards to maintain stock levels effectively
Enter information into the Logic/Veracore
Check inventory levels in Logic/Veracore to make sure counts match
Make any necessary corrections
Assist in other departments when necessary
Qualifications
Knowledge of the printing industry (preferred)
Able to accurately count, read, write, and analyze information.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills used to manage and resolve conflict
Proficient computer skills/word processing
Forklift Certified
Communication
Ability to effectively communicate with vendors, co-workers, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
Equipment Used
Industrial Lift Truck, Computer
