Staffing company in Sacramento is hiring an On-site staffing coordinator for a food manufacturing plant in West Sacramento, Ca.
On-site staffing coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations of the temporary workforce at a specific location. Liaison between client. Employees, and staffing agency.
Job Duties:
Manage, coach, counsel and terminate employees
Create and confirm daily staffing schedules for up to four shifts per day, including some weekends
Work closely with client management to understand and meet the needs of production across all shifts
Constant communication with client management and employees to ensure client customer service satisfaction
Update and maintain Employee database daily
Update, adjust and maintain employee timekeeping system
Beginning of shift check-ins
Provide instruction and on the spot coaching on safety, policies, procedures, time reporting, and attendance
Complete on-the-job accident and injury reports, submitting immediately upon notification
Interview, recruit and maintain adequate levels of staffing for all shifts
Process new hire paperwork and data entry into ATS
Monitor attendance and hold employees accountable
Process payroll weekly
Research payroll discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments
Monitor temporary employees work and coach on the spot for proper GMP compliance, provide coaching notes to supervisors
Perform HR investigations, submit documentation to appropriate parties
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Over two years HR experience
Two years previous on-site staffing experience
Ability to work nightly from home for scheduling confirmation communications
Ability to work some weekends
MS Office experience ( Excel, Word, PP, etc.)
Organized
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet daily scheduling timelines
Two or more years scheduling experience
Experience with ATS systems
Bilingual a plus
Must be able and willing to work in a refrigerated warehouse environment
