Elevator Controls Corporation manufactures elevator control panels and has a full time opening on our production floor. This position will perform quality inspection of our elevator control panels by checking point to point wiring, labeling, wire crimping and product appearance. They also will be trained to work in other areas, including generating pick lists for jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform quality inspection on point to point wiring, parts label placement, wire gauges, crimping and color coding, product appearance.
Record inspection data on job logs.
Back up production support using a computer program to generate pick lists and identify parts for jobs.
Qualifications:
Ability to read schematic diagrams.
Ability to identify electronic and electrical parts.
Experience using multimeter and basic mechanical tools (pliers, screwdrivers, crimpers, etc.
Experience with quality inspection.
Good basic computer skills including accurate data entry.
Excellent work ethic.
Good team player.
Willing and eager to learn about our controllers.
