GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position predominantly provides special event support for all of ACC Senior Services annual and one-time events. At times the position may also assist in other Fund Development efforts (25%). Reports to the Development Director and works closely with volunteers, community organizations and ACC Senior Services (ACC) staff within a multi-site non-profit organization serving older adults. The Fund Development Assistant position is a non-exempt (hourly) position.

REQUIREMENTS:
ï§ Good English communication skills (oral and written).
ï§ Some college and at least 2 years of work experience with increasing responsibility for office functions that includes data entry (minimum requirement).
ï§ Special events planning and implementation experience is a plus.
ï§ Proficiency in MS Word and Excel and CRM database. Experience using Raiser's Edge is desired.
ï§ Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is critical to this position.
ï§ Typing speed at least 55 wpm.
ï§ Ability to operate designated equipment such as computer workstation, digital camera, fax machine, multi-line telephone, calculator, photocopier, and audiovisual equipment.
ï§ Available to work a Monday through Friday work schedule with flexibility to occasionally adjust hours to work evenings or weekends when needed.
ï§ Experience in non-profit environment desired.
ï§ Ability to work with diverse Asian and Pacific Islander language and ethnic populations.
ï§ Ability to lift 30 pounds.
ï§ Valid California driver license.
