DUTIES: Produce financial and market intelligence by querying healthcare industry data repositories and internal databases to generate business intelligence reports for senior executives and managers. Provide data analytics support by analyzing business and data models, devising methods for identifying patterns and trends in internal and external data, providing analytical data reviews, creating system data flow diagrams, identifying problems and potential improvements, carrying out impact analyses, and ensuring implementation of client specifications in application development. Perform project analysis and management utilizing mathematical models based on internal and healthcare industry data to support recommendations for action, including analyzing forecasted and actual business data, assisting clients with strategic and tactical planning, and recommending modifications to application project scope. Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions to inform business intelligence analysis. Carry out marketing research on California State AB-434 and Federal Section 508 on how various firms are developing approaches to solutions on creating accessible documents. Develop training materials for digital accessibility based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) or later. Design and develop application systems based on customer requirements and market conditions, contributing business intelligence input to the entire Software Development Life Cycle. Provide project support by identifying and solving business intelligence problems and clarifying objectives, including facilitating meetings with IT external and internal clients and developing application project status reports and dashboards. Provide knowledge transfer and training on data models. Manage the timely flow of business intelligence information to senior executives. Maintain a library of model software artifacts, templates, and other reusable knowledge assets. Use analytical tools such as RDBMS, Web Application, Content Management System, Data Warehouse, SQL Server Reporting Services, SharePoint, Business Intelligence, Adobe ProDC, HTML, XML, Visio, Project Server, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server (TFS). REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in business analytics, marketing, data analysis, or a closely related technical and quantitative field, plus at least three (3) years of experience as a business analyst, including providing complex analytical review; building business cases; evaluating business processes for efficiency, usability, and replacement; analyzing and validating model input and output data; planning and developing test plans and being responsible for project management duties.
