We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Sacramento. We’re a reliable, fast-growing shop that takes pride in quality work, honesty, and keeping our customers’ trucks running strong. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains and electrical.
Perform routine services, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
Utilize diagnostics tools and equipment to identify and fix mechanical issues.
Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues accurately.
Complete work orders and maintain clear documentation.
Maintain work area appearance and safety.
Work safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
Experience as a diesel mechanic or automotive mechanic willing to learn diesel.
Knowledge of diagnostics, diesel engines, DEF systems, hydraulics, and electrical.
Minimum 1+ years of experience working with diesel trucks.
Confident, professional communicator when working with customers.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Good work ethic and reliable.
Ability to work independently and effectively.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Basic hand tools; specialty tools can be provided when needed.
