We are an established used car dealership that has an immediate opening for a Master Level Technician and new Team Member. This is a fast-paced environment that requires an experienced candidate skilled in diagnosing and repairing European, Domestic, and Import vehicles of all makes and models. We are looking for a qualified technician with experience working in independent repair shops or dealerships with an emphasis in foreign vehicles.
This is an excellent career opportunity with a high demand for experience in the foreign automotive maintenance field. It is imperative to have a high stamina, spending much of the work day on your feet and the ability to handle and meet constant deadlines. Automotive technicians need to be able to grow and develop within this field.
Candidates should hold qualities of great attention to detail and meticulous organization skills. You must be able to work well in a timely and efficient manner, team setting, provide outstanding customer service, follow workplace safety, cleanliness, and procedural standards.
This position is open for immediate hire
Ideal candidates MUST have the following skills and attributes:
ü Minimum 5 years experience in a professional environment
ü High quality scanner and tools
ü Valid CA drivers license and clean driving record
ü Problem-solving ability
ü Team Player, positive attitude, hardworking, organized, clean
ü Valid certification (e.g ASE) is preferred
Responsibilities:
ü Inspect vehicles, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover issues
ü Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability
ü Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
ü Log work and report on issues
ü Keep work area clean
Compensation: If you have the skill, pay is competitive with franchise dealers, if not, better!
Master Mechanic: $25-40/HR based on skills, experience level, and productivity.
Level B and C positions available: Starting at $12-20/HR
Full Time Employment. Minimum 40/HRS weekly. Overtime when needed.

Must be knowledgeable in everything ranging from basic to advanced level repairs (Diagnostics, engine rebuilds, transmission issues, electrical, suspension, heating and cooling system, fuel system, ignitions, no start, timing belts, timing chains, head gaskets to window regulators, door lock actuators, sunroofs, brakes, oil changes, everything in between).
