About the position:
Paratransit, Inc. is now accepting applications for Vehicle Operators to operate Paratransit vehicles safely and efficiently in the door-to-door transport of passengers to scheduled sites; to assist passengers on and off assigned vehicle; to assure the safety of passengers while riding in assigned vehicles; and to maintain accurate records and logs of trip information as required. The schedules for this position vary between the hours of 4:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., five or six days per week including weekends and holidays. Applications are accepted continuously as this position is an ongoing recruitment.
The minimum qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Valid California Driver License
Clean driving record
At least 21 years of age for insurability
Excellent communication skills
Desire to help people
Reliable
Responsible
Team player
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Benefits:
$14.25 per hour with a prevailing wage scale that increases each year
10 Paid Holidays, 4 Paid Floating Holidays and 10 Paid Vacation days
