The Truss Company has a position at our Sacramento CA facility for a Diesel Mechanic to service our fleet of delivery trucks and forklifts. The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
3-5 years experience working on diesel trucks
Able to perform thorough diagnostic inspection on truck systems
Able to repair truck and forklift components
Able to perform scheduled service and maintenance on all trucks & forklifts
Strong hydraulic, electrical and power-train troubleshooting skills
Able to maintain accurate maintenance paperwork for trucks and forklifts
Make road calls as needed
Crane knowledge highly desired
Skills and Abilities Required:
Work with little to no supervision
Able to use and navigate a computer
Must have current drivers license, CDL preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy
Safety conscious
Welding experience preferred
Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs, climb, stand, walk squat, bend and kneel continually throughout entire 8+ hour shift
Must be able to wear face covering during shift
