Small High Tech Business near Oceanside / Vista / Carlsbad area has an immediate opening for a Cloud Based -Work Remotely QuickBooks Data Entry bookkeeper
Requirements:
Proficiency in QUICKBOOKS ONLINE.
4+ years previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Solid and progressive work history
Must be confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Entering A/P and A/R transactions into our "QuickBooks Online" order system
Bank and credit card statements reconciliations
Processing credit card payments, check deposits and disbursements
Administrative duties (e.g. entering various invoices into Quickbooks, scanning and uploading paperwork for electronic filing, organizing electronic files, processing checks and bills, and other accounting filing and other special projects) as needed.
Personal and Professional Attributes:
Quick learner and able to work "independently" and efficiently
Attention to DETAIL and "ACCURACY" a must!
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate high standards, professionalism, reliability, and dependability
Highly motivated. Positive attitude only!
Work is mostly remote using cloud based software. But ideal candidates may be based within 50 miles of Oceanside, California, United States.
Must have the necessary home or private office space (without distractions) and computer equipment, dual-monitors, printer, scanner and paper filing systems to work remotely via the internet. Computer equipment and internet service must be up to date in order to handle the latest cloud based QuickBooks Online. PC is preferred over Mac.
This is a 1099 contract position with flexible hours. VERY IMPORTANT to include a COVER LETTER highlighting experience and current work status. Prefer candidates who already have an established independent 100% cloud based QuickBooks bookkeeping or accounting practice.
