Scripps Ranch CPA firm is in need of a seasonal tax preparer with at least three years of public accounting experience.
Responsibilities include preparation and review of tax returns.
Tax return preparation includes all types of returns, including individual, businesses, trusts and multi-state returns.
This position has flexible hours and requires an average of 50 hours per week during the busy season.
The position may become a permanent position after tax season for someone who is at the manager level, and has experience in attest engagements.
The position can be in-house or remote. We are a paperless office, and all tax documents are sorted and scanned into our accounting software in advance.
You would be dealing directly with our clients during the tax preparation process.
Ultratax software experience is preferred but not required.
You should be proficient on QuickBooks, and able to perform accounting necessary to prepare returns.
The compensation is negotiable, based upon experience.
