The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working with customers, managing the order entry process and assisting customers throughout the sales cycle. The position entails supporting internal customers including the Technical Sales Executives (TSEs). He/She will interface with the Sales, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Quality Control Departments to take care of our customer’s needs, The majority of work is done telephonically, on internal computer systems and the internet.

The Customer Service Rep is our Liaison to our International Distributors and our OEMs.

There will be some requirement for preparing internal documents such as aids for the sales department, educational materials for distributors, and doing general administrative functions for the sales team. Our products are of a biological nature, some scientific/or technology experience would be an asset but is not required.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibilities include:

Taking and processing orders and assisting customers by addressing their questions and concerns.

Developing proficiency in all products offered by company, especially in knowing which products are matched.

Maintaining and updating of the company database.

Sending promotional and informational e-mails to current and potential customers.

Preparing informational materials for customers (external and internal).

Logging, categorizing and following up on client complaints.

Processing custom product requests.

Maintaining all Price Lists.

Maintaining Cell Reservation System

Working in a team environment to obtain information to resolve customer issues.

Working with appropriate departments to insure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
