We specialize in high-end interior design and we are looking to hire a junior designer as a contractor.
The ideal candidate has experience in either commercial or residential interior design. The work involves engaging closely with the firm's Principal Interior Designer and owner, preparing drafts, sketches, CAD drawings, specifications, furniture design, color concepts, admin, vendor and client visits. The work environment is extremely fast paced, and you will need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and changing priorities, while keeping the energy up and maintaining a very high quality standard.
Requirements:
Up to 6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial interior design
Proficient with AutoCad
Proficient with Sketchup or similar tool
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Drive/Docs/Sheets/Slides
Excellent communication skills
Organized
Self-starter
Problem-solver
Ability to work with a high degree of ambiguity
Project and time management
Own car and driver's license
