Job Description

We are looking for a Hands on Lead DevOps Engineer that will help standardize the DevOps functions across our teams globally. We believe in the DevOps model of collaboration and automation applying it to everything we do. This is a highly influential role with the flexibility of a start up, but with the support of a well-established organization. You will help Developers and QA Engineers setup their CI/CD pipeline and will automate the build, test and deploy their code to production. You are a highly skilled DevSecOps or DevOps Engineer who's constantly seeking to automate everything. You will also help establish DevSecOps practices by integrating security testing into the deployment pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Create automated CI/CD pipelines for various different applications using

    Azure DevOps. You will be deploying and configuring builds and automating releases.
  • Provide and maintain integrations between development/source control/build/deployment tools
  • Ability to identify gaps and implement improvements to the CI/CD pipeline and lead the prioritization and development of automation improvements
  • Monitor, analyze and report performance statistics for on-premise and cloud hosted environment
  • Collaborate in an agile team with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, System Architects, Development Teams, QA Engineers, other DevOps Engineers and Users.

Qualification
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related or at least 10 years of industry experience automating CI/CD pipelines, and hands on Cloud implementations.
  • Recent experience Architecting and building CI/CD pipelines supporting on prem, cloud automated deployment, Infrastructure as code, Monitoring, and Security.
  • Experience with the following tools:

    Azure DevOps, TFS,

    Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube, Veracode, New Relic, Cara/Nolio, SumoLogic, Vault, Jira, Confluence, Ansible, Lambda, Kubernetes, Powershell scripting
  • Experience managing Microsoft based software applications/node.js
  • Strong practical Linux systems administration skills, system performance tuning is an asset
  • Understanding of branching strategies and modern SDLC integration
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
