The overall scope of the Accounts Payable Analyst encompasses process tasks related to problem solving, vendor relations, and tracking and resolution of process defects.
Problem solving duties include problem resolution, tracking and reporting, vendor statement review, root cause analysis, month end accruals, and serving as AP liaison to General Accounting, Materials Management, Facility Finance, managers and supporting personnel.
Requires comprehensive knowledge and integrated system application of a full-cycle Accounts Payable process.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
Requirements include:
3+ years AP/related experience or equivalent level of education.
Experience with cross-functional integration with purchasing and supply chain management preferred.
Hands-on/comprehensive knowledge of diverse AP software applications, including fully integrated ERP financial and inventory systems.
Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office. HS Diploma, Certification and/or college courses in Accounting or Business-related field are required.
Experience in a centralized share services environment is preferred.
AAS/BS in Accounting or Business-related field preferred
