This company develops an automation platform used by in-house scientists and customers to synthesize and test new Lithium battery prototypes for electric vehicle and portable computing products and other high performance applications.
The automation platform includes: scientific research applications for battery chemistry scientists, robotics and automation for synthesizing new battery compounds, post - synthesis battery cycling and test automation and end to end automated data collection.
The role will include two primary responsibilities:
1. Develop full stack cloud application software. This includes enterprise software products for external customers who test and characterize batteries for their high performance computing applications.
2. Contribute to development of front end web applications which scientists will use for their workflows. Though not finalized, it is likely React will be used to develop the front end web applications. The architecture will be de-coupled from the new back-end.
