SummaryThe Manager Network Development and Performance provides effective leadership in provider and network relations and ensures development and maintenance of an adequate network of providers that is compliant with regulatory and other oversight and accreditation agency standards. The incumbent solves problems and researches/analyzes data to facilitate business activities related to provider and ancillary network strategy and performance for commercial, senior and government markets. The Manager Network Development Performance serves as an advisor to the executive management team and participates as part of and in support of a management team that operationalizes and ensures success of Sharp Health Plan's goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives, especially in the areas of network product development and performance, customer satisfaction and relationship management, performance and process improvement, medical management, and health services initiatives, including quality initiatives.Here's what Sharp Health Plan has to offer you:Sharp Health Plan is the largest, locally-based commercial health plan in San Diego. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Health Care Management or equivalent experience
Three years leadership and management experience
Five years experience in a health care related field
Three years experience in a managed care environment
Three years provider relations and/or provider contracting experience
Five years experience in a position requiring high levels of cooperation, collaboration, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Familiarity with coding, legal and medical terminology
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Masters degree in related field
Customer relationship management, marketing and communications experience
