This role develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including: schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks. You will monitors and drive the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters. This position monitors budgets and spending, on-time delivery, achievement of program milestones , represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.The responsibilities of this role include: Working independently with little supervision.

Making decisions that are significant in impact; errors are not readily apparent due to the complexity of work process/product or time between decisions and results; errors typically result in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds to correct.

Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. May require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.

Influencing key organizational decisions and is consulting with senior leadership to provide input on key decisions.

Completing tasks requiring multiple steps that can be performed in various orders, require simultaneously executing multiple cognitive abilities and maintaining short and long-term information appropriately.

Exercising exceptional creativity to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products/processes without established objectives or known parameters.

Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.

Participating in strategic planning affecting immediate operations.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set the prioritization of deliverables, discuss involvement of business processes including program change management and communication to drive decisions necessary for on time delivery.

Manage and take responsibility for multiple medium sized programs and complex technology by applying up-to-date program management knowledge to meet deadlines.

Develop and manage the execution of the program Plan of Record (on time, on budget, within scope) for multiple programs which include schedule and resource forecasting, stakeholder identification, method and frequency of communication, scope, and prioritization.

Establish key program metrics and manage team to take action outside their comfort zone to ensure program success when metrics deviate from Plan of Record.

Identify and secure resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand for multiple complex programs.

Drive teams to identify program issues or risks and create risk mitigation plans for single and multiple complex programs. Maintain and update risk tracker.

Promote program vision and objectives within the team, ensure program objectives are met or exceeded, present program vision to management, and gain buy-in from stakeholders.

Promote adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives across the Program Management team.

Physical Requirements Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience. 5+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.Preferred Qualifications: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant discipline.

10+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.

2+ years experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc.

3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.

5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).

Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
