The site-based float pool (SBFP) floats to four major Med/Surg Telemetry units at Scripps Memorial Encinitas. We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses responsible for providing direct care within the scope of your practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning, and implementing a plan of care and evaluation of the patients’ progress towards expected outcomes. With quality patient and family-centered care in mind, the RN takes primary responsibility for the patients’ care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. You will work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.Bring your one-year Medical-Surgical experience to join Scripps, and change lives, starting with yours. In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letterRequired Qualifications:
One (1) year of RN experience.
Current CA RN License
Current BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN
One year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experience
Telemetry or Progressive Care experience
Other Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLS
Epic EHR working experience
