We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses in the 36-bed Psychiatric Acute Unit where the RNs are responsible for:
Providing direct patient care, observation and management of behavioral health patients.
Assessment, plan and implement care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team.
Manage de-escalation of behavioral disturbances
This is a Full Time Benefitted (64 hours per pay period), 8-hour Evening shift, position located at Scripps Mercy San Diego in Hillcrest.This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7K The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
Must remain in original department/specialty
Must remain in original Job Title
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
One (1) year of RN experience
Current CA Registered Nurse License
Current BLS from the American Heart Association
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Behavioral Health and/or ED experience
