Develop your career through a range of multifaceted engagements, formal training, and informal mentoring.At KPMG, we believe nothing is more important than investing in our culture because its an investment in our people, our future, and what we stand for as a firm.KPMG is currently seeking a Seasonal Senior Manager to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/services/accounting-methods-credits.html) practice.Responsibilities:Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to conduct Federal Tax Credit and Incentive consulting services, including leading client interviews and discussions, performing tax technical research and developing business and industry expertise; assisting with the build out of our infrastructure and expertise in the Federal Tax Credit and Incentive practice

Assistance on federal tax consulting services, including but not limited to Employee Retention Credit (ERC), Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), Energy Credits, including the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC), New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC), Federal Disaster Tax Credits and other emerging federal tax credits

Team with members of State and Local Tax practice, Washington National Tax and other relevant service lines to conduct tax consulting services

Communicate directly with client personnel, including operations, finance, accounting and engineering and develop and sustain excellent client relationships and assist in business development effort

Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of KPMG and client resources

Assist with drafting opinion letters, responses to IRS inquiries, IRS ruling requests and writing other technical memoranda

Qualifications:Minimum eight years of recent experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience, including experience in accounting methods and credit services

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

Licensed CPA or J.D./LL.M. (Please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently possess one of the credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from commencement of employment)

Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Access; experience performing internet research

Ability to travel and work at client locations, as needed
